The Opportunity:
Our client, a growing dental organization, is looking for a Regional Director, Operations to lead a portfolio of clinics across the Hamilton Region. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands dental operations and can develop strong Clinic Managers, improve business performance and support teams through change. You’ll work closely with clinic leaders, Doctors and Support Office partners to strengthen established practices and support newer clinics as they grow.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the operational and financial performance of a portfolio of up to five or six dental clinics.
- Coach and develop Clinic Managers, set clear expectations and build strong clinic teams.
- Review clinic KPIs, budgets and P&L results, then turn performance opportunities into practical action plans.
- Work with clinic leaders to improve production, collections, scheduling, treatment acceptance, hygiene performance and patient retention.
- Support newer clinics as they ramp up while maintaining performance across established practices.
- Build effective working relationships with Doctors, Clinic Managers and Support Office teams.
- Help clinic teams adopt new programs, processes and ways of working.
- Travel regularly between clinics and provide hands-on operational support.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful:
- Progressive leadership experience in dental operations, ideally with a dental group or DSO.
- Experience overseeing multiple clinics and coaching clinic-level leaders.
- Financial and operational accountability for a meaningful multi-clinic P&L, ideally with a portfolio of at least $10M.
- A track record of improving clinic performance and leading teams through change.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinical and operational teams.
- A hands-on leadership style and flexibility to travel between clinics across the Greater Toronto Area.
Compensation Range: $100,000 - $130,000.
